The journey from concept to reality is taking shape. At Filametric, we've reached a pivotal moment in our development of reliable and accurate filament dryers for the 3D-printing community. After months of research, countless iterations and many customer conversations, we finally finished our prototype design of the Filametric Solo. It's time to make it.
Last week we kicked off the production of our Filametric Solo prototypes. These prototypes will be tested on the manufacturability of components, ease of assembly and functionality. Together with testing the longevity of all its components, its forms the foundation from which our production model will be born.

At Filametric, we recognize that design iteration is essential to achieving the highest product standards. Hence, we prioritize rigorous testing by external parties to gain as much feedback as possible. Student teams are known for challenging and demanding projects, often with short timelines and aggresive deadlines. That is why we will start pilots with student teams such as RISE, DroneTeam Twente and RoboTeam Twente very soon.
We're working with leading student teams to put our dryers through extensive testing. Their demanding projects provide the perfect testing ground for our technology.
