Filametric was founded by Alexander Nieuwland, a maker who experienced firsthand the frustration of unreliable filament drying. While working on high-precision 3D-printed parts for a student rocketry team, Alexander realized that existing filament dryers couldn’t deliver the performance needed to get consistent, quality results.
Determined to solve this problem, he started Filametric: a company dedicated to creating modular, precise, and reliable filament dryers that empower makers and professionals to focus on what they do best — creating.
